How do I register for SimpleQuote?

No need to register! Supplier Hub and SimpleQuote are fully integrated, your existing login will work, and all your profile information will be there for buyers to see.

How do I access SimpleQuote?

To access SimpleQuote simply log into Supplier Hub and click the SimpleQuote button located on your dashboard. Alternatively, you can go to https://simplequote.buy.nsw.gov.au and log in using your Supplier Hub username and password.

How do I know I have been invited to provide a quote?

If you are invited to provide a quote you will receive an email with details of the opportunity. You will also see the opportunity listed on your SimpleQuote dashboard.

Can anyone respond to an open opportunity that is published on SimpleQuote?

Yes! Open opportunities are available to everyone, they are typically targeted at a specific supplier type and/or industry sector but if you feel that you can meet the stated requirements then you can respond.

What happens if I am invited to quote on something that I'm not interested in?

Quote invitations are obligation free, if you are unwilling or unable to respond then you can choose to ignore the invitation. There is also a DECLINE button associated with each invitation that if clicked will let the buyer know that you will not be responding.

What happens if I miss the close date on a quote?

All quotes, both selective and open have close dates to ensure they are fair to all prospective suppliers, unfortunately if you miss the close date for any reason you will be unable to submit a response and will miss that opportunity.

Can I change my response after I have submitted it?

Yes, if the quote close date has not been reached you can re-submit your response as many times as you want, only the most recent response submitted prior to the close date will be visible to the buyer for assessment.

Can I withdraw my quote after I have submitted it?

Yes, if the quote close date has not been reached you can withdraw your response.

Can I provide multiple quotes for the same request?

It is up to the buyer if they wish to accept multiple quotes from the same supplier.

Can I attach a document to my quote response?

Yes, you can attach documents that specifically address the buyer requirements to your quote response.
